Let us start with the Facts: There are currently over 100 million blogs, with more than 100,000 new ones created every day!, less than 15% are professional in nature, and Wired News reports that 27% of internet users read blogs regularly. According to an Ad-ology Business Marketing Forecast, over 25% of Small to Medium sized business owners said they plan to spend more on social networking in 2010. This survey of 1,100 business owners indicated that the biggest benefits of social networking are to keep up with their industry, increase brand awareness, and improve exposure to an existing customer base.
